Our staff

Our staff work in two locality teams based in north Durham or south Durham and Darlington.

This means we can provide you with support close to where you live or in the locality of your choice.

The service is run by a partnership of Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust, County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust and Mental Health Matters.

All staff are trained in the use of psychological therapies.

You may have contact with one of the following:
o PWP (Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner)
o High Intensity Worker
o A health professional currently in training.

You may be offered more than one type of support including telephone support, group or individual therapy.
